Math Homework Help

While all of my other classes need to be scheduled a minimum of 2 days out, this one can  be scheduled the same day or next day to help with a math homework problem/concept that might be frustrating, and you just can't wait to get help. 

 Please post a photo/scan of your homework to the classroom before class starts to get the maximum out of your time.  Any accomodations you typically need in math, a little about you, can also be helpful.   We'll use a Google Slide presentation that the learner has access to, as well as my document camera and whiteboard to demonstrate problems.  Throughout class, and when we're all done, any whiteboard notes will be screenshotted and added to your personalized Google Slides presentation, so it can be referred back to at anytime in the future.  


I am a certified K-8 teacher that has conducted math interventions at a public school, and I have been tutoring on Outschool for just over 3 years.  The majority of my math tutoring students have dyscalculia, dyslexia, dysgraphia, adhd, autism, or some combination of those mentioned.  I try, as much as possible, to teach conceptually and allow my students to come to their own conclusions to solidify those connections in the brain.  I understand that sometimes homework just needs to get done as well!  For homework help, I'll still teach by asking questions, but ensure we get to the right answer in a timely manner.
