Beginner Level
This class is the next writing unit in Writers Workshop Kindergarten. We are going to begin this writing class with learning about How To books. This unit of study is very special because we can teach others how to do something or learn how something works. Writers can create books that they are experts on . These books will contain specific steps to clearly teach others by following sequenced steps.
In this class, students will learn about informational writing and think...Students will learn about How To books. They will learn to write many books. They will learn the mechanics of writing a sentence.
I have taught Writers Workshop for over twenty years. I studied at the Columbia Teaches College in Writers Workshop. I have also taken additional classes in my district.
