In this one time only beginners dance class, we will warm-up and stretch and learn a fun, upbeat routine! We will also have time to work on a craft at the end of class! Bring a towel to dance with as your prop!
Class experience
During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies, do cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about the first15 minutes of class. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine for approximately 30 -35 minutes. During class we will have a couple breaks that include making a craft at the end of class. Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 19 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

1 file available upon enrollmentBring a hand towel or something similar to class as we will dance with it as our prop in class! Bring attachment to class. If you are unable to print you can use your own paper and try to make a popcorn box! Bring a dry snack to put in the box! You can also choose to make a locket, bring string and scissors to cut it out.
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
