Class Experience
When you look outside your window as the season begins to change into winter, you might notice some animals are missing! Where did they go? What are they doing? Will they be back? We will discover all of this and more in this class about hibernation, migration, and adaptation. We will learn what each of these words mean using fun actions, a guessing game, and a group activity. We will also discuss a few animals that seem to "defy the odds" and choose their own path during winter time. After...
Learners will understand the words migrate, hibernate, and adapt. They will also be able to classify up to 12 animals into each of the three categories.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
