Calling all Harry Potter fans! 🧙 Welcome to our Harry Potter book club! We will meet weekly to discuss a chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Students will read each chapter before class and meet weekly for a class discussion. We will discuss our favourite parts of each chapter and our favourite characters. We will compare notes on different aspects of the story. For example: theme, setting, plot, emotions, point of view, etc. Learners will also be asked trivia + reflection...
Homework Offered
Learners should read the assigned chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. There will be one chapter assigned each week until the book is complete.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
There will be fun quizzes in every class just to test how well learners remember key details from the chapters. The quizzes will not be graded.Grades Offered
Learners will be given a certificate of completion showing that they read the entire book.
Learners can bring their book to class to reference during the meeting if they choose but it is not required.
