Show and Tell - Using Important Milestone Social Skills for Kids
We will get together to learn important social skills like sharing, respecting personal space and following directions while participating in show-and-tell!

US Grade Preschool - 1
In this communication class, students will learn, and then put into practice, important social skills like: listening, following directions, cooperating and using manners. They will each have an opportunity to present something to the class like: their favourite stuffy, a drawing, a game, etc. This is a great chance for kids to socialize and learn how to engage in a respectful but fun conversation with other kids their age. Students should bring one or two items to class to share. They will be given a couple minutes each to share. PART ONE: The teacher will teach the learners some different ways to give someone encouraging and positive feedback. PART TWO: The teacher will go first in show-and-tell to provide and example to the class. PART THREE: Learners will practice giving nice feedback. PART FOUR: Each learner will present and listeners will provide positive feedback. *If there is extra time, learners may be able to share an extra item or there will be free talk directed by the teacher.
