This class is perfect for animal lovers of all kinds- real or fictional. In the first part of this class, we will learn about three popular mythical creatures: unicorns, mermaids, and phoenixes. Students will improve their speaking and listening skills by researching mythical animals and then discussing what they learned. They will also learn how to write an effective paragraph with a main idea statement, supporting details, and a conclusion sentence using the ideas we discussed during class.
