Private 1:1 Tutoring: Initial Assessment and Meet & Greet for Explicit Phonics Instruction.

This class serves as both an assessment and a friendly meet-and-greet session. During our time together, I will evaluate your child using the DIBELS data-driven inventory to assess key foundational skills, including letter-sound recognition, phonemic awareness, decoding, blending, oral reading fluency, and comprehension. In addition to the formal assessment, I’ll observe your child’s learning style, attention, and approach to reading. 

I also will create a personalized learning plan that outlines clear goals and targeted skill areas. We’ll reserve a few minutes at the end of class to briefly review assessment findings, discuss scheduling, and answer any questions you may have. Within 3–5 business days, you’ll receive a comprehensive written report with your child’s results, benchmarks, and suggested next steps for instruction.
