Teacher expertise and credentials
Associate's Degree in Music or Theatre or Arts from Musicians Institute
I started my music journey on guitar at eighteen, teaching myself for four years. From there I received my degree from The Musicians Institute. While attending I gained experience in learning to play guitar and preforming in bands. After I became a guitar teacher at a music store, working with a wide range of students from as young as six and up. While teaching guitar I have been able to use my personal experience to help my students achieve their guitar goals. Whether it is drawing from my memory of what it was like teaching myself guitar or using what I learned playing guitar with other musicians, it has all aided me in my over 10 years of teaching guitar.
