Math Bootcamp - Subtraction Adventure: From Basics to Mastery (Ages: 6-9)

The class will consist of interactive lessons followed by engaging worksheets. Students will be given 1-2 worksheets per class to reinforce the concepts learned and check their understanding. There will be a combination of demonstrations, hands-on activities, and real-life problem-solving to keep the learners engaged.

I will teach using a combination of visual aids like number lines, interactive worksheets, and hands-on models. Students will be encouraged to actively participate in the learning process by solving problems and using concrete tools to visualize addition. We will use interactive and visualization tools like Polypad and GeoGebra, where students will be able to see and experience the concepts rather than just imagining them.

My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I focus on making math fun and approachable, using a variety of methods to ensure all students are engaged. I believe in building confidence through practice, and I incorporate games, visual aids, and discussion to keep the lessons exciting and enjoyable.

Learners will interact with me through live problem-solving during each class. I will facilitate discussions about strategies and solutions. Games and interactive activities will be incorporated to make learning enjoyable. Slides and visual representations will also be used to explain concepts, ensuring that every student is engaged and actively participating.


This course will teach subtraction concepts, including, using number lines for subtraction, visualizing subtraction in three-digit numbers (with and without regrouping), subtracting two- and three-digit numbers (with and without regrouping), solving real-life word problems involving subtraction.
