Goal Setting With Vision Boards
In this one-time course we will learn about goal setting and how vision boards can help with reaching goals while we make our own.
Goal setting can be incredibly helpful in achieving our dreams. We will begin with discussing powerful ways to create a goal. Is it a small, bite-size goal or is it a big goal that might take more time and steps to reach? Each student will create a list of goals for themselves and have an opportunity to share if they feel comfortable. We will then work on creating a vision board based on the goals they listed. Students will learn ways to improve goal setting. Students will learn how to create a vision board to assist in goal setting.
I work with many groups of people in using vision boards to help with goal setting. I have led workshops for my community to help people write goals that are more accessible to them.
A poster board, folder, or even a cork board as the surface to create a vision board Magazines or other media with images and words the student can cut out and paste to their board Scissors Glue Markers, pens, crayons for any writing or drawings the student may want to add
