This section is learner-directed or dictated weekly due to current events/happenings. There is no beginning or end to this ongoing section. Learners can join the club at anytime. This Club is for Students who used to live or are living in Germany, possibly went to school there and learned the language. And now that they moved away from Germany, they still would like to stay connected to the German culture and language or for the ones living in Germany they want to just get more connected. Students will get the opportunity to talk German in a relaxed and fun way right from home. In this club we will talk about German books, movies, traditions and music. We will work on getting to know each other and talking about experiences in Germany. Sing German songs and play German word games to practice grammar and sentence structure. Language is what connects us all over the world. Let's keep speaking so we can have more adventures and make more friends wherever we go!
Learning Goals
Students will learn to stay comfortable in the German language by practicing to speak it in a friendly setting. They will learn about German traditions and culture right at the breakfast table.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I love to teach my mother tongue, German, and as many arts as possible. I grew up in Germany as a daughter of a Civil Engineer and a Teacher and moved to the US in 2003 to further my dancing career and knowledge of Life in general. Dance has been in my Life forever. I started to dance at a young age and tried out most every genre. Ballet, Jazz, Ballroom, Tap and Hip Hop just to name a few. I went to the Sport College in Cologne/ Germany and to School for Ballroom dancing in Bonn/ Germany where I became a Teacher for Ballroom Dance. I also studied Textile Arts and like to work with my sewing machine. I love movement and I love music! And I believe that with every new language and every new skill you try in Life you become a more complete person.
