Class Experience

This class will teach the basics of German introduction. How to meet friends, talk about age, hobbies and interests, understand easy conversational questions and how to see the difference in formal and informal introduction. Since there is a difference in the German culture between addressing Adults or children, we will make that part of our learning experience as well. We will learn with pictures, songs and stories. It will be a fun conversational learning experience. Students must be able to read english. No other skills are required. How to read German will be part of the course. Students will get enough time to practice their proper pronunciation. Since I am a German native I will be able to teach the right pronunciation of German words so the learners can be well prepared. After the first course/ section, students should be able to introduce themselves to a German native and and tell a little about themselves.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I love to teach my mother tongue, German, and as many arts as possible. I grew up in Germany as a daughter of a Civil Engineer and a Teacher and moved to the US in 2003 to further my dancing career and knowledge of Life in general. Dance has been in my Life forever. I started to dance at a young age and tried out most every genre. Ballet, Jazz, Ballroom, Tap and Hip Hop just to name a few. I went to the Sport College in Cologne/ Germany and to School for Ballroom dancing in Bonn/ Germany where I became a Teacher for Ballroom Dance. I also studied Textile Arts and like to work with my sewing machine. I love movement and I love music! And I believe that with every new language and every new skill you try in Life you become a more complete person.
