The course is organized into 2 one-hour sessions each week, allowing for 16 hours of dedicated instruction. Each week will focus on a new topic, starting with core concepts and moving through practical applications and problem-solving exercises. What topics will you cover? 1. Number Skills: Working with integers, decimals, fractions, and percentages. 2. Algebra Basics: Introduction to expressions, equations, and sequences. 3. Ratio and Proportion: Applying ratios, proportions, and percentages in real-life problems. 4. Geometry and Measurement: Basic shapes, angles, perimeter, area, and volume. 5. Graphs and Coordinates: Plotting points, straight-line graphs, and interpreting data. 6. Probability: Basic probability concepts, including experiments and likelihood. 7. Statistics and Data Handling: Averages, range, charts, and graphs. 8. Problem Solving and Exam Skills: Combining skills with past paper practice and time management.

Dear Parents! My name is Iqra and I am UK qualified maths teacher. I have been teaching maths to various age groups from primary to adult learners for last ten years as a tutor and five years as a qualified teacher. I have always enjoyed learning maths as a student and acquired degree in Statistics from my home country. I have volunteered in different educational settings and ultimately completed my teacher training from IoE, UCL. I am highly self motivated individual, life long learner and a passionate teacher.
I have experience of teaching in different educational settings involving both children and adults, however I have more experience in teaching GCSE maths. In my career, I had been tutoring for many years however post PGCE, I have worked as a lecturer in some highly reputable colleges in London. I have also worked as a supply teacher in various schools in London as well as delivered short numeracy courses under local council.
