Fun With Physics: Newton's Laws
In this one time class we will discuss Newton's Laws of Motion and make a balloon rocket to represent those laws.

Join us as we discuss the laws surrounding motion! In this class we will introduce Newton's laws of motion. These laws describe how things work scientifically. We discuss how these laws describe the relationship between the force acting on an object and the motion of that object. For each law we can use a ball or two, such as a soccer ball or a tennis ball, to act out the various laws and make observations and predictions. Lastly, we will use string, tape, a straw and a balloon to make a balloon rocket that demonstrates the three laws of motion.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the three laws of motion.
Students will replicate situations that demonstrate the three laws of motion.

Hello! My name is Sara and I am looking forward to working with your child! I teach Art, History, Science and Math to children who are 6-12 years old.
