In this class we will learn about seven Ancient Egyptian wonders: the Sphinx, Pyramid of Giza, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel, Karnak, Library of Alexandria and the River Nile. Egypt is one of the oldest and most fascinating civilisations in the world and these monuments are testaments to the ingenuity and intelligence of the Ancient Egyptians. We will learn the histories and myths that go along with these sights of interest as well as their geography and popularity today. We will look at the role the River Nile played in the growth of this region and delve inside the unparalleled Library of Alexandria. This interactive class will be composed of visually interesting slides, interactive discussions, quiz questions and three videos from Ted-ed. All are welcome!
