Julie-Anna was a homeschooled learner, now turned homeschool mom. In addition to her role as a homeschool educator, she has taught piano and yoga for years.  She has experience working with children between the ages of 3 and 18 years of age, as well as a variety of neurotypes.  She has worked as a ghost writer, copy-editor, and proofreader, and recently completed her Level-5 TEFL certification. 

Julie-Anna's childhood was enriched by her experiences living in both France and Luxembourg, fostering a fluency in French. Educated in French schools, she developed a profound appreciation for the elegance of French cursive writing, which she now shares with students on Outschool. Drawing from her own upbringing, she seamlessly integrates her language skills into her homeschooling journey with her children, incorporating cherished French curriculum and resources from her own educational past.

Julie-Anna loves teaching creative writing because of her own love for the written word.  Books were her first and lasting love and she never leaves home without a book, a journal, and a beautiful fountain pen.  Some of her favorite authors are C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen, and Charles Dickens.
