2 in-class hoursClass Experience
Does your student speak basic conversational French, but wants an immersive experience to improve? Do they enjoy making friends, playing games, and doing creative activities? Come and join me in this immersive French experience! In this class, we will do fun activities and have conversations in French. I will be speaking in French only during this class except when students need help, so students should be comfortable with speaking completely in French, as well as understanding instructions and playing games in the language. Day 1: We will start by introducing ourselves and learning about each other. We'll talk about what we like to do, our personalities, and our favorite things! Students will play 20 questions to guess different animals Students will be able to share and tell us about ONE thing that they love - something they made, something they’ve done, or anything else. Day 2: We will start by talking about our families, our pets, our friends and some of our favorite things to do with those people! We will play a game of "Would you rather" Students will play a game to draw a silly picture Day 3: We will start by talking about different places we've been to, our favorite trip or vacation, and where we would like to go someday. We will play a storytelling game. Students will paint a picture of a sunset

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been learning French for 6 years now, from French 1 - French 5. I am conversationally fluent and at a B2 level. I have tutored French immersion from May 2020 through August 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine, and I've been teaching French through Outschool for 1 year.
I took the French CLEP test a few years ago and got maybe 5 points away from a perfect score while testing out of and getting credit for all the French classes at my local community college.
I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working towards my Bachelors in French, which includes classes in advanced French immersion, French literature, and French education.
I also have my certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), the principles from which I apply to my French classes.
