**Note- If you do not see a section available and you would like to take the class, feel free to request a section and I will work to get one booked for you** In this class students will learn about the different types of fingerprint patterns and ridge characteristics. We will also cover how fingerprints are used in forensic science. Students will get a chance to take and analyze their own fingerprints and work with the class to match fingerprints of "suspects" to ones found at a "crime scene".
Learning Goals
Students will be able to identify the 8 major fingerprint types along with a few ridge characteristics. They will be able to apply this information to the analysis of their own fingerprints and those of simulated crime scenes.
