***Please make sure that the student taking this course has taken "Circumference of a Circle Made Easy" before taking this course*** Students will quickly go over the parts of a circle necessary to find the circumference of it. Students will review the two formulas used to find the circumference of a circle and do a couple of skill based examples. Students will then be given a worksheet with word problems. Students will learn to identify the key words that would let us know they type of problem we are given. Students will learn to organize the data given in order to solve the problem. Students will classify each problem as a radius given or a diameter given problem. They will apply the correct formula in order to solve. Students will leave class with notes to use at a later time.

Please have students come to class prepared with a notebook, a pencil and at least two colored pens.
