With over a decade of experience as a school psychologist, I have dedicated my career to understanding how children learn and grow. Since 2013, I have worked in various school settings, evaluating cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral strengths and needs. This background has given me extensive experience working with neurodivergent students and tailoring instruction to diverse learning styles. My expertise in child development, combined with my passion for creativity, uniquely positions me to teach digital art in an engaging and accessible way.  

My academic journey began at Penn State University, where I studied Psychology with a Business focus, followed by earning an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Temple University. Throughout my education, I took numerous art education courses and developed a strong appreciation for how art fosters social-emotional growth. I have also led social-emotional learning groups in schools and taught art and drama classes at a summer camp, further reinforcing my ability to blend creativity with meaningful learning experiences.  

Art has always been a personal passion, and I believe it is a powerful tool for self-expression, problem-solving, and flexible thinking. My approach to teaching digital art is rooted in inclusivity, adaptability, and encouragement. Over the past four years, I have taught digital art to thousands of students on Outschool, maintaining an average five-star review. I take pride in creating a welcoming and supportive environment where all students feel valued. I personalize instruction to meet individual needs, whether through adjusting projects, providing step-by-step guidance, or fostering constructive peer feedback.  

Ultimately, my goal is to inspire students to embrace creativity, build confidence, and appreciate the beauty in imperfection. As one student reflected, “I never knew I could create something like this!” It is moments like these that drive my passion for teaching digital art and helping students discover their creative potential.
