Week of June 22: Chemical Reactions - Another Chemical Reaction - It Grows! The students will learn about a variety of science topics. They will learn about an interesting science topic each week. The new concepts will be taught during the first 15-20 minutes of class. There are, however, some science classes where the science will be reviewed at the end of the class. This is called inquiry. Following the introduction, the students will complete the science experiment. The students will be asked guiding questions while the experiment is underway. Different modes of instruction will be used. The students will be taught using animations, pictures, video clips, slides, discussions, and open-ended questions. The students do not require any previous science knowledge. NOTE TO PARENTS: If the student does not have the materials, they will be able to watch the other students while engaging in discussions.
