Class experience

US Grade 11 - 12
Beginner - Advanced Level
This class is taught in English.
Advanced Grammar and Syntax
•	Review of basic grammar concepts, introduction to advanced sentence structures.
•	Advanced verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and parallelism.

Academic and Creative Writing
•	Introduction to academic writing principles, focusing on thesis statements and essay structure.
•	Exploring creative writing techniques, including narrative development and character analysis.

Critical Thinking and Analysis
•	Analyzing literature for themes and motifs, identifying literary devices.
•	Introduction to critical thinking skills, evaluating arguments and evidence.

Effective Communication and Presentation Skills
•	Public speaking techniques, including voice modulation and body language.
•	Crafting persuasive presentations and effective communication strategies.

Literature Appreciation
•	Studying classic literature works, such as Shakespearean plays or American novels.
•	Analysis of contemporary literature and exploring diverse literary voices.

Vocabulary and Idiomatic Expressions
•	Vocabulary expansion through word roots, prefixes, and suffixes.
•	Understanding and using idiomatic expressions in writing and conversation.
As an English teacher/tutor with over 20 years experience, I have enabled many students to have a command of the English Language.
My credentials include a Master of Education (M Ed.) degree in English Language, a Bachelors of Education (B. Ed) degree also in English Language and a teaching Diploma in English Language and History
Homework Offered
Home work will be engaging and based on lessons that are covered.
