Our world is full of marvelous, intelligent, and remarkable creatures. Unfortunately for many of these animals, they are facing the possibility of becoming extinct due to human activity. We, as a species, have been careless and selfish. Destroying rainforests and grasslands to make way for buildings and plantations. We pollute the land and sea, causing sickness and death among many animals. We hunt for our own pleasure and kill for greed. Although these statements are indeed true, not all...
Students will learn about different endangered animals in the wild. Students will be introduced to reasons why animals become endangered and the steps people have taken to protect them.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This topic may be upsetting for some students as we do discuss the topics of poaching, killing animals, and trophy hunting. No graphic content will be shared with students in the form of videos or images. But discussions will take place covering these aspects in relation to endangered animals.
