Teacher expertise and credentials
Enjoy your lessons with a friendly, professional, and highly qualified teacher. I am a Runner Up in the 2018 Yamaha E - Band competition and my playing has been described as "ravishing ....with a wonderful variety of tone colors and nuance of interpretation."
I hold a Bachelor Degree in Music and currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Jazz composition and performance at Longy School of Music of Bard College studying with Noah Preminger, the winner of Downbeat Magazine’s Rising Star Best Tenor Saxophonist. I love to make music, fan of video games, gardening, teaching, reading and cooking.
My students are the recipients of numerous awards and regularly receive the highest ratings in competitions and festivals.
I am happy to offer small group and private lessons on music theory, piano, saxophone and song writing. You will have fun studying materials and making your own music, from note reading, performance, creative interpretations and composition. You will have fun making music on your instrument and I will help you develop your unique talent and strength, and by creating the most ideal learning atmosphere. While no two students are alike, I believe that students of all ages and personality types learn best when they are in a happy, motivated and calm emotional state.
I think it is important to take the craft and art of music seriously, as well as the development of our talents and skills. It is also vital to have fun with learning, teaching, and performing, and I always try to provide an upbeat atmosphere in the private lessons and small-group classes. I'm looking forward to begin this journey with you.
