Players will need to make a character before their first game and will occasionally need to level up between sessions.Class Experience
We will be playing Dungeons and Dragons in a handcrafted adventure that has players working to uncover a dangerous plot, and deciding if they want to stop it. This class is for players who are familiar with D&D. This class is driven by the players. Each week the party will choose as a group where they go and follow the adventures that they find most exciting or interesting. Players may jump in or out at anytime, and new players are always welcome. They see you as a monster, and you sought to prove them wrong. In the past you've performed some act of kindness or heroics, and at least one time it did not go unnoticed. Now a group of investigators known as "The Hooded Lanterns", have recruited you to infiltrate Harmen Rail Co., an operation that offers work to monsters building railroads. Though Harmen Rail Co. is applauded in by the public, the Lanterns suspect there is something more to this operation. What truths will you uncover, and what will you do once you know? Horror is the theme of this game. Though you are playing as "monsters" the world is still a dangerous place. Injuries are often dire and lasting, and there are things out there worse than you. To make these situations more dangerous we will be using the lingering injuries and massive damage rules. Players will need a level 1 character, choosing base ability scores from one of the arrays below. You will also need to create a character who is considered monstrous in some way. This could be represented through species/race such as Tiefling, or Half-Orc or just plain Orc. (The player options in Monsters of the Multiverse provide some great examples), through class such as a Warlock or Witch themed caster, or through a curse like Vampirism or Lycanthropy. (15, 15, 14, 10, 8, 8) (15, 13, 12, 11, 11, 11) (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) (14, 14, 14, 12, 10, 8) We will level up using milestones.
Learning Goals
Students will build problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Parental Guidance
This class contains images of fantasy violence and horror. Injuries will not be described in graphic detail, but weight will be given to them to keep the tension high. (Nothing Exceeding PG-13 Rating). There will be depictions of death, prejudice, psychological horror, and frightening monsters. If you would like further information on potential triggers or have any questions feel free to send me a message.
