Class Experience

- In part 1, the adventurers are on the road to the town of Irnlode when they stumble into a kobold ambush.
- In week 2, the characters arrive in Irnlode to find it in desperate need of heroes. They will learn that kobolds have taken over a precious mine beneath the city.
- After delving down into the mines, we will learn more about the kobolds that inhabit this underground lair in week 3.
- In part 4, the players will decide how to resolve the situation! Will they help the kobolds, the townsfolk, or both?!

Student expectations: Our founding principle is that roleplaying games are best when we play them with teamwork, openness, and mutual support. We want our students to embrace these values. Students will attempt to help each other in and out of the game to the best of their abilities. Any intentional action that is detrimental to another player's experience or makes students feel excluded may result in removal from the course without a refund. The DM and our owner, Will, have the final say on any removal.
Learning Goals
This camp is an excellent opportunity for newcomers and seasoned veterans alike. Our main goal is to learn more about playing Dungeons and Dragons while doing so in a safe and fun environment.

- Dungeons & Dragons is a terrific way for students to have fun while developing abilities in teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, research, creative writing, and some basic arithmetic.
- Additionally, the students will hone their abilities in public speaking, self-expression, and empathy through in-game interactions and play.
- Lastly, the students will learn the fundamentals of Dungeons and Dragons so they can jump right into an entire campaign whenever they feel ready.

In the game, characters can die but this will be handled in an age-appropriate manner. I am happy to make accommodations for parents based on what they believe their child can handle.
