In this weekly club we will play through The Lost Mine of Phandelver, a fantastic entry level campaign for beginners searching for a hidden mine, home to great magical power.
Class experience
Current Schedule: Week One - You begin your character travelling along the High Road until you come around a small town. You see a trail of smoke rising for where a building once was. Will you help this small village? Week Two - You encounter the entrance to temple in the nearby Neverwinter woods, it appears to be of elven design but the inhabitants seem to be far from elves! Week Three - Rescuing the kidnapped child you make your way back to the hamlet of Evermist, and continue your journey...
Create a shared list of classroom rules. Work as a team to analyse and solve problems. Improve skills in communication and cooperation. Use a combination of logic, strategy and creativity to complete tasks. Develop skills in storytelling, decision making, invention, research, calculations, negotiation, role-play, and active spatial visualization. Practice public speaking skills by retelling the events of the previous week.
During class will use the websites D&D Beyond (https://www.dndbeyond.com/) and Owlbear Rodeo (https://www.owlbear.rodeo/). I will use the Dungeons & Dragons (5th Ed.) sourcebooks for reference regarding the rules and gameplay. Primarily content found in the Player's Handbook. As well references from Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.
