Day 1 (Spanish Speaking Day) Dual Language students will have fun learning about the culture and history of piñata making. Students will learn the basics of forming and creating the piñata shape. A 24hr drying time will be required in order to proceed. Day 2 (English Speaking Day) Dual Language students will learn fun facts about piñatas and share their personal experience with piñatas. Students will use their creativity to design and finish the piñata. Once students add the candy in the piñata, they will have the option to share and tell their design.
Learning Goals
Students will be immersed in both English and Spanish Language throughout the piñata making process. Students will learn and use their creativity to make a homemade piñata.

½ cup of flour 1 cup of water Newspaper (cut in 2" strips) Scissors Bowl Spoon Balloon (Inflated and ready to use) Tissue Paper (Dollar Tree has them for $1) Wrapped Candy of choice Glue String Tape
