Description
Class Experience
Upon completion of the course lecture, the student will be able to define the following terms: positions in terms of names and numbers, symbols and route symbols, pass and cut, down screen action, mid screens, and play integration Students will become familiar with the correct drawing of plays using the universal language/symbols of drawing basketball plays. Finally, students will contribute to a document that will include their plays as well as the plays of their classmates.
No homework is assigned, but access to paper and pencil during class is necessary.
Students will need a paper and pencil to draw their plays and eventually submit their plays to the instructor so he can create the playbook for the students.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment is provided, but the interchange between students and instructor will determine the success of their created play.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
