In this ongoing class, students will follow a new directed drawing lesson each week. We will draw animals, monsters, funny foods, mythical creatures and so much more! We will draw step-by-step, and toward the end of class everyone will get the chance to share and idea of something fun/silly that we should add to the drawing, and I will draw it on mine. After our drawing is complete we usually add in a fun background. Everyone will have the opportunity to be 'spotlighted' and receive individual praise and positive feedback. I tell students that my drawing is just an example of what they can make - they are encouraged to use their imaginations and creativity in this class! Students can make any changes or substitutions they want. I will share my screen and draw on the computer, so my hand will not be in the way, and will not be obstructing anyone's view. This is a fun class, so no drawing experience is required!

Hello Families!
My name is Nicole - my students usually call me Ms. Cole. I graduated from ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts with a double major in Design Studies - with a focus in 3D modeling and digital fabrication; and the other in Art Studies - with a focus in fashion and studio art.
I have a passion for the arts and really enjoy creating with clay and drawing in my free time. I love teaching fashion, drawing, and art classes; as well as early learning foundations for preschool and pre-k.
I am a multi-certified lead teacher for toddlers, preschool, and pre-k. I taught preschool and pre-k for five years, and I absolutely loved it!
I am a homeschool mom to my amazing daughter who keeps me on my toes and helps me come up with exciting new class ideas all the time.
I can't wait to see you in class!
