Beginner Level
Discover the enchanting world of insects while learning to draw our buggy friends. Learners will get to use step by step guidance to create fun and unique bug drawings. This class focuses on the enjoyment of talking about our tiny bug friends while learning about line art, texturing, and shapes. Learners will learn the basics of drawing beetles, bugs, and butterflies through creative prompts and step by step instructions. This class will cover: Introduction to the use of shapes to make bugs (ovals, circles, triangles) Step-by-step doodling techniques for the bug of the week Adding character and detail to bug drawings Each class is structured to focus on a specific big or group of bugs. Learners will have demonstrations, practice time, and opportunities for personal expression. The easy to follow steps will allow children to build confidence in their drawing abilities while exploring the world of bugs. This is a space for creativity and exploitation that will provide guidance for drawing while encouraging learners to express their creativity and unique artistic expression.
