Class Experience

**Please note that this class is not to teach your learners Spanish but for them to have an immersive experience in the Spanish language.  This is a Spanish immersion session for bilingual speaking learners, heritage speakers, or dual-language learners and it is taught in Spanish.**

The goal of this class is for learners to feel comfortable speaking in an immersive environment while having fun crafting.  This session will improve their Spanish communication and listening skills.  They will have the opportunity to speak in Spanish.

I am a native Spanish speaker, author, and Latina educator of Puerto Rican and Ecuadorean heritage. I have a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University del Este in Puerto Rico and a master's degree in Spanish education from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.  My goal is to provide an enriching Spanish language immersive educational experience for my learners.

The following materials are required for all of the classes: white paper plate, or a pre-cut circle of the same size, crayons, markers, different color construction paper, glue stick, and scissors.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.

Younger learners may need help from a grown-up to cut if they still haven't developed that skill.
