Class Experience
Homework is not required, but it is strongly recommended that learners practice what they have learned for at least 10 minutes each day. I also encourage all learners to surround themselves with as much Spanish as possible. Listen to Spanish music. There are many wonderful children's programs in Spanish. Consider borrowing Spanish language books from the library, or building your own Spanish language library at home!
Learners will need a small white board and marker each week. Other materials that will be needed periodically include coloring materials, glue, scissors and blank paper. Handouts that may be needed will be available in the classroom and will need to be printed prior to the start of the class meeting.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal oral and written assessments will be conducted frequently.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
