Get ready to have fun with your amigos and learn Spanish! 🚨No prior exposure to Spanish is required!🚨 ⭐️ In this 12 week semester class, learners will meet weekly in small groups to focus on the basics of the Spanish language. ⭐️ Each thirty minute session will include greetings, how we are feeling, calendar time, weather in your neighborhood, and a new lesson for the week. ⭐️ We will have a new concept introduced each week, or a review week where previous material is practiced more in depth by playing games and completing informal verbal and written assessments. ⭐️ There will be many opportunities for each learner to hear the target language as well as orally practice specific vocabulary and phrases several times throughout the class. ⭐️ Activities will build upon the previous meetings and learners will gain confidence with each passing week, as they are able to understand and speak more and more Spanish! ⭐️ Powerpoint presentations, visual props, games, short videos, songs, and more will be used during each class meeting. ⭐️ We will have white board time during most lessons, where learners will be given a challenge to complete that involves what they have already learned in Spanish. ⭐️ Learners will also work on simple projects and handouts during some class meetings. **Please note that there are NO makeup dates for this class. If your learner misses a week, they are welcome to view the recording of the class. I am always available to assist learners who message me as well. **If a learner arrives more than 10 minutes late to a meeting, they may not be able to enter that meeting, and will need to watch the recording once the live meeting has been completed.
