US Grade 4 - 6
Intermediate Level
In this one-time class, students will be choosing 4 aspects of planning a vacation: flights, hotels, food, and activities. They will be using their selections to enhance their knowledge of multiplying and adding decimals, given that their goal is to find the total cost for a group of 4 people. Class will start with a quick review of multiplying decimals before jumping into the planning portion. We will take the time to check our answers after each step to help catch any common errors that might occur. Learners will be encouraged to share their answers and discuss with the group what they've learned in regards to both decimals and the process of planning a vacation!
Learning Goals
Students will improve their mastery of multiplying and adding decimals.
