In this 10 week course, students will learn executive functioning skills to help them become successful both inside and outside of the classroom.

Class experience

Students will learn strategies for executive functioning skills: self-understanding, organization, time management, emotion control, behavior control, flexibility, initiative, attention, working memory, and persistence.
I am a 12th year teaching Special Education teacher. During this time I have been a case manager who has worked with students with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities helping them with organization, time management, self-regulation, and other executive functioning deficits. I have taught classes in social skills and worked with students in the class setting and individually with executive functioning skills and helping to provide them with the tools to overcome these deficits.
