Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 10
Beginner - Advanced Level
Is your preteen/ teen struggling to find their assignments? Turn in work on time? Figuring out how to start that large science project or history paper that's due a month from today? Has outbursts over all of it?

If so, your child may need some executive functioning instruction. This is very common in middle school and early high school students! What exactly is executive functioning? In these sessions, your child can work on any of the following:

1. Organization: how can you best organize your materials to stay on top of your assignments and find the things you need?

2. Task initiation/prioritization: What is the most important thing that needs to be accomplished? How can we start this project/ assignment?

3. Emotional Regulation: how can we deal with the feelings of being overwhelmed? The stress of all the assignments?

Book this class as a one time session, to get your child started, or ongoing to have your child check in regularly to keep on top of assignments and organization!

This class will be discussion based. Students should be prepared to discuss their school assignments and display their learning management system, for me to help them stay on top of assignments and get organized.

I look forward to working with you!
