In the ongoing class, we will really explore and focus on the shape, size, curve, and spacing of our cursive words.
Class experience
Cursive writing is becoming a lost art. Learning to write in cursive is shown to improve brain development in the areas of thinking, language and working memory. Cursive handwriting stimulates both your right and left hemispheres, which is something printing and typing does not do. For each class we will review different letters, including both upper and lower case. Students will improve their skills in cursive writing.
I have been an educator for over 10 years, and a homeschool mom. I taught many students how to write in cursive and seen how much it has helped them with their memory and thinking skills. I have used these methods with my daughter when she was in second grade, and her writing and reading skills have expanded.
