In this language arts and creative letter writing class, students will learn four important questions to help them write a descriptive thank-you note to a loved one. (Recommended for learners in third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade.)
Class experience
Some people believe that writing thank-you notes is a lost art. Not in this class! I am thrilled to offer this one-time class where I teach learners how to write a meaningful, descriptive thank-you note that is sure to make an impression on the recipient! Learners will even write their own thank-you notes during class to show their gratitude to a loved one. The class will be broken down as follows: 1. Greetings and introductions 2. Students will be able to write a descriptive thank-you note showing heartfelt appreciation for a specific gift or act of kindness.
For this class, learners should bring: (1) A thank-you note or simply a blank piece of lined paper and an envelope (2) A pen or pencil (3) An extra piece of paper for brainstorming ideas
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
