Class Experience

Students will learn how to make an origami ball by listening to instructions and physically completing the task. To be successful, students should be able to fold paper by matching edges and follow directions. There is no homework assigned. I will monitor how students are progressing as the project moves along. I will provide guidance to help students move toward a completed project.

Other Details

Supply List
Students will need 12 perfectly square pieces of paper to complete this project. I have used both large and small sized paper. I will be demonstrating by using a 3 x 3in memo pad. POstits also work very well for this project.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am offering this class because folding origami can be a relaxing experience. When I experience too much stress, this is a technique that I use personally. I hope that students will find this as fun and relaxing as I do.
