Creating an Area and Perimeter Maths Robot

Students will be taught how to measure area and perimeter of squares and rectangles. Students will use this knowledge to draw their own robot. Each section of the robot will be made from a square or a rectangle. Students will then measure each of their robots body part in perimeter and then area and record this on their drawing. I will display a powerpoint to teach the students all about perimeter and area before we begin creating our own robots. Children will not need any previous knowledge...
