Whether you are a beginner Minecraft player or a master builder, there is something for you in this class! I want students to walk away from this course with not only the knowledge of the game design process, but the confidence to take risks and make mistakes. Students should also have an increased creative stamina and the ability to navigate through mental blocks when brainstorming. Similar to real-world collaboration in any creative industry, students have the opportunity to give and receive constructive feedback and flex their social skills.
I have taught game design courses in Minecraft since 2017 and have helped many students bring their ideas to life.

As part of day four, students will be encouraged to take a step back from their creations and identify what is and is not working well. While I will not be assessing their level of creative ability as that is relative, I will be providing personal guidance on what skills students can work on to improve their workflow during class.Grades Offered
