Students should understand and be able to create a strong sentence before participating in this class. In this class we will cover basic rules for paragraph writing and sentence structure. We will discuss the necessary components of a 5 sentence paragraph. Students will create a paragraph with the teacher about pets. We will write a main idea sentence, three supporting sentences, and a closing sentence. We will identify and color code the 5 sentences to ensure we have all the components necessary for a strong paragraph.

Supply List
Students need a pencil, notebook, a red crayon, blue crayon, and yellow crayon.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
