Class experience
You will have so much fun in this hilarious class! We'll spend 3 days playing lots of fun Improv & Drama Games, and boosting our comedic performance skills through a bunch of group activities & daily challenges! **We also offer this same content for younger students as "Comedy Camp for Ages 7-10"! ** Play improv games to flex your creative muscle! Discover how to *safely* do physical comedy bits like pie-in-your-face or walking-into-a-door! Create your own mime character! Come explore...
Students will learn essential mime, physical comedy and improv techniques that will have everybody laughing!
Our instructors are professional theatre Teaching Artists who work with our children's theatre and performing arts studio in Atlanta, GA. They possess advanced degrees in Theatre, Musical Theatre, Vocal Performance, or Dance. They love helping kids boost their confidence and creativity through arts education!
We recommend a bottle of water nearby to stay hydrated cause we'll be on-the-go with lots of active games! Please be in a 6' open area that is free of other noise so students can be unmuted without disrupting the class flow. Please wear clothes & shoes you can easily move in so you're comfortable.
Everything will be done in a safe and controlled manner & environment. Our instructors specialize in teaching these topics as theatre Teaching Artists. We are super encouraging, high energy, and kind:)
