Students will have one half-hour clarinet or bass clarinet lesson to help them start their clarinet journey on the right foot.
Class experience
In this class, I will teach students how to improve their clarinet playing. Usually, my lessons start with scales, then we move on to music for the second half. However, if your student is looking for help with one piece or etude, we can just have a one-time lesson on that. If there's something specific your student wants to work on, please be sure to send me a scan of the music ahead of time! Clarinet, ligature, reeds, and enthusiasm! A more detailed supply list will be provided in the Outschool classroom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There are numerous method and etude books that I like to use with students, but this depends largely on the student's experience and level. I will assess this during the first lesson, and, if you want to continue with lessons, I will send a list of recommended materials.
