Chill & Chat Social Club For Boys: Play Based Learning With A Circle Of Friends

🤩 In this unique & fun social club for boys, kiddos will spend 50 minutes once a week with me and a small group of kiddos while having fun practicing a variety of life skills, social skills and forming meaningful connections with kids from around the world. Homeschoolers and Traditional Schoolers welcome.

🤗 Kiddos will all get the chance to engage in kind and fun conversations while playing fun teacher led games. Each class will feature carefully chosen games that help kids utilize important life skills, like : communication skills, listening skills, building confidence, public speaking, active listening and many more.  

💬 After the group activities every kiddo will get to practice refining their conversation skills and social skills while spending time chatting with a buddy or two each in a break out room as well!  

💻  Kids will paired up and be given time roughly 10  - 15 minutes of Buddy Time to socialize in a small group setting with a friend in class while discussing common interests and things they enjoy.

During this weekly club kiddos will have the opportunity to practice life skills like: 
- Socialization 
- Public speaking
- Engaging in a fluid conversation 
- Observation skills
- Speaking with purpose 
- Waiting patiently for a turn
- Raising their hand to speak 
- Being a active listener
- Offering others support
- Conversing one on one with other children similar in age
- Making meaningful connections with kids around the world

What Can Your Kiddo Expect?
- The Social Club meets once a week to allow kids to shine like the star that they are while chatting, laughing and building confidence with new friends, playing games, and socializing with a new circle of friends.

-First, each we will begin with each kiddo receiving a warm welcome and a chance to share their thoughts as we chit chat a bit 💭.

-Next, the kids and I will engage in a fun group game or activity together that is carefully chosen to give kids a chance to practice real life skills like....patiently takings turns, public speaking and utilizing good manners as we each give one another our undivided attention. 

-Finally, I will randomly pair the kids up with a buddy and send them to a break out room for a fun 1 on 1 chat and some hang time with a buddy to chat and utilize the skills we are practicing and refining during our group time together.

🥳 Do kids get to celebrate their birthday with the class?
YES! Each child will get to celebrate their birthday with Miss Anna & classmates during a class on their birthday month.

How Does 1 : 1 Buddy Time Work?
-During their 1 : 1 time Miss Anna will periodically monitor each Zoom breakout room by silently checking in on each group of kiddos and offering to help getting a conversation off the ground if needed. 

-During this time kids can chat about mutual interests, learn about things other children are passionate about and simply have the freedom to enjoy time with another kiddo while practicing the life skills they have been refining during group activities together.

What is the virtual classroom atmosphere like?
-My virtual classroom environment is a fun and relaxed atmosphere where I lead classes with big energy, playful humor and kindness to encourage kiddos will do the same. 

- Miss Anna will occasionally mute and unmute kids if needed to make sure very child gets to feel truly seen and heard when it is their turn to speak. Kids will be given kind reminders to remember to use their best manners while in class and make sure they are being considerate or their classmates feelings. 

-Kids are also always encouraged to show off their silly sides, tell a joke, share something exciting thats going on with them and show off their amazing unique personalities during out timer together.

What Will The Kids Do Each Week?
-Each week I will lead the kiddos in different interactive group games and activities together like: Would You Rather, Fun Challenges, Miss Anna’s Imagination Station, Trivia, and much more.

-This class will follow a similar structure each week with a variety of games and the same great group of friends.

🎥 Do Cameras Need To Stay On During Class?
-Yes. Please note that in order to practice effective communication skills, organic conversation skills, and showing each other our undivided attention during this class kids will be required to have their camera on at all times ( unless they need a quick moment of privacy )  during this class. 

-We understand that this may mean it is not the best fit for every child, it is the most successful way to ensure each person in class is getting the undivided attention they are showing to others.  Thank you in advance for you understanding and respecting the class rules.
