In this ongoing class, students will answer fun and engaging questions while coloring! The class is meant to be fun, relaxing, and entertaining. Students will be given a brief set of points prior to each class as a reminder to remain respectful to one another. Each class will have a particular theme of table topic questions that will be asked. All students will get a chance to volunteer their answers to the group and comment on the responses of others in a friendly, supportive, and encouraging manner. While we chat about our answers, we will also be coloring. I will also share some answers and encourage everyone to get involved as they feel comfortable. Students will receive a link to the two coloring pages that we will be using for the week. (Students can choose between the two pages or color both!) This link can be found in the classroom tab at least 2 days prior to our meeting. However, if they wish to bring their own coloring page or doodle book that is totally okay! Students will not get any instruction on coloring-they can be as creative as they would like. They will be given the chance to share their work at the end of the session if they feel comfortable. Upcoming Themes: Message me directly for which theme is coming up! Food & Hobbies School & Sports... Would you rather... If you could... Using your imagination to make stories and add on to stories of others! (This is my favorite theme!) Variety of mixed topics & Using your imagination to make stories. Food, Hobbies & TV Shows! Students are welcome to join any week that interests them or students can stay for several weeks to continue to meet new people, practice speaking and listening skills, and have fun! Classes will be cancelled if there are 0 learners by 10pm EST the day before the session.
Learning Goals

Supply List
Students will need colored pencils ( or any coloring tool of their choice) and a printer to print out coloring sheets that will be provided as a PDF. They can also choose to buy a coloring book instead. Some students prefer to color on an iPad through a coloring app. This is acceptable as long as the device is separate from the one they are using for Outschool. However, I highly recommend a physical coloring book/sheet.

I am a certified NYS math teacher for grades 7-12. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Arts in Education from Adelphi University.
I have been working with both children and adolescents for over 9 years through camps, preschools, and tutoring. I have enjoyed all of these experiences, and believe that they have helped me grow as an educator. As an educator, the most important thing to me is to make sure that each student knows that I care about them and believe in them.
Art has always been important to me. Almost everyone I know will describe me as a creative person. However, I believe that anyone can be creative. Expressing creativity is important because it allows one to express oneself. I want to show others that they can also be creative through this fun and easy class!
This class is more than just any art class. It is a class where students can interact with one another in a safe and fun environment. They can share stories, experiences, and interests while learning about others.
