This week long camp will introduce a game each day for us to play! We will have fun with words, hunt for things, draw, and act things out! This camp is designed to get a group of children interacting and engaging in a fun way each day!
Class experience
This camp is designed to get children engaging with each other through multiple fun, interactive ways! Each game will require learners to listen, follow directions, and most importantly--HAVE FUN! Each day will have a new game that we will learn and play together. Please see the schedule and needed materials below. Monday: Scavenger Hunt--children will have to "hunt" around their home for specific items. Themes of the hunts will vary. Materials Needed: Nothing, but during the hunt...
There is a lot of learning that will happen during this camp! The Scavenger Hunt will have a range of themes, which will have children building their vocabulary skills. It will also get them up and moving! Beetle has them listening, following directions, and working on their drawing skills. Charades is a fun way for children to build their acting skills. It also has them thinking creatively about how to get us to guess what they are doing/being! Spot the difference is wonderful because children have to use their observational skills and pay attention to details. It is also great to see how each child chooses to change their scene! What's in the Box focuses on sharing their item as well as speaking in front of their peers. For those that are guessing, they are practicing listening and thinking skills Above all, this week of games will give the class a chance to interact in a fun, informal way. They will be thinking and learning, but also building their social skills!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
