Beginning Piano Lessons - Try It Out!

Piano lessons are a big commitment, so try one out before you pay! I've taught dozens of students over the last 10 years and am a pro at helping young and beginning students get excited about playing the piano! My piano teaching philosophy is to create a positive and fun experience while my students are beginners and learning the fundamentals. With a positive association to piano lessons, students are more likely to stick with it even when learning more difficult techniques and become lifelong pianists.

In this class, your student will learn the basics of playing the piano while laughing and having fun along the way!

We'll cover:

-the basic parts of the piano
-proper piano posture
-a trick for remembering the names of each piano key
-an intro into reading music
-the basics of timing and rhythm
-how to play a song

I've taught children as young as 3 how to play the piano. If they can count to 4 and know the alphabet from A-G, they can start learning how to play the piano (but they may need a booster seat to help them reach the keys!)
