Be the Kind Kid: Let’s Learn Empathy

Hello, my name is Megan! Helping others learn and grow is my passion. In my classes, you can guarantee we will laugh and have fun while we explore drawing, arts and crafts, sports, seasons, holidays, games, and so on. I have actively worked with children ages four through eleven for the past nine years in a variety of settings. I'm certified in Elementary Education and English as a Second Language. I believe that education is most valued when you have the students' interests in mind. When teaching is presented in a fun and engaging way, students are likely to understand and remember the content. Not all students learn in the same way, so a variety of learning styles are necessary. Something fun and personal about me is that I play softball and have since I was seven years old. Not only do I love softball, but I have been playing alongside my fraternal twin sister!
