In this one-time class we will talk about empathy and how to put yourself in someone else’s shoes.
Class experience
In this one-time class, students will learn empathy. They will listen to a story that explains empathy in a great way using scenarios and four helpful tips that allows you to discover and be empathetic. We will then follow up with a fun empathy game to check for understanding. In my class, I will explain my rules along with the breakdown of what we will be doing in the class time. You can speak during the class as long as your hand is raised and I call on you. This is a judgement free class...
Please have a dry-erase board and dry-erase marker for our fun empathy games!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
